Thanks to its attractive genius loci, the formerly favourite picnic destination for the Prague residents has transformed over time into a lucrative residential area which still retains the charm of beautiful family estates surrounded by romantic gardens.
The homesteads of Petynka, Kajetánka, Schleiferka and Malovanka, which with their adjacent vineyards belonged to the Jiřská Monastery in the 17th century, are still reflected in the local names. They still give the houses between the Břevnov Monastery and Strahov Monastery a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. A living reminder of them is the revitalised Kajetánka Park with a pond and restaurant in the early Baroque chateau. The park is only 150 metres from the Na Petynce Residential House, which perfectly meets the varied requirements for leisure time, but also offers the wide benefits of metropolitan living. The excellent transport accessibility increase the range of possibilities even more.
